Outreach Officer - Part-time

The Outreach Officer will lead an engaging and impactful outreach programme at Oasis, coordinating across the wider team to build stronger relationships with partners and people within the local community. They will support client participation in local events, encourage community fundraising and support the generation of positive news stories about partner activity. This is an important role in building proactive, compassionate and effective community alongside co-producing a broader sense of belonging.

Emloyments Partnerships Officer

During our strategy co-production process, clients highlighted quality careers as a priority. This project, Empowering Sanctuary Seekers through Career Pathways and Inclusive Employment, addresses that need. Funded by the Rayne Foundation, the post-holder will pilot a programme to support refugees into good quality job roles.

Asylum seekers and refugees face barriers that native citizens might not even consider throughout various everyday activities - including one as simple as having a picnic.
Saeed's Success

After arriving in the UK from Yemen through family reunion, Saeed struggled initially to make new connections and integrate into his new-found environment. He has now just started his first job in a new country, alongside completing his studies. He has worked exceptionally hard to get to this point and we are so excited to see what he achieves.
