Not just a picnic: Dreamers in the Park

It is truly no picnic rebuilding your life in a completely new place, navigating new systems, and trying to understand a new language - one that is full of confusing idioms such as ‘no picnic’. Asylum seekers and refugees face barriers that native citizens might not even consider throughout various everyday activities - including one as simple as having a picnic.
Saeed's Success

After arriving in the UK from Yemen through family reunion, Saeed struggled initially to make new connections and integrate into his new-found environment. He has now just started his first job in a new country, alongside completing his studies. He has worked exceptionally hard to get to this point and we are so excited to see what he achieves.
